+603 2031 9898To meet the increasing need for home delivery services in the food and beverages industry, we are enhancing the culinary and bakery programmes by providing our students with comprehensive training in digital marketing. This will empower them to establish their own online enterprises after graduation, should they choose to do so.
Our Digital Marketing programme equips students with the necessary skills to obtain industry certifications, including Google AdWords. These certifications can be obtained by successfully completing the online assessment, which is typically part of a paid professional training course attended by working professionals.
Our lecturers are extensively qualified, with a significant number holding postgraduate degrees. They are experienced educators who have worked in the relevant industry, both locally and internationally. This ensures that our curriculum is delivered with the utmost dedication to providing our students with the most up-to-date industry knowledge, preparing them effectively for the workplace.
Our Tourism Training Institute (ILP) is officially registered with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Cultures (MOTAC) and has been awarded with the five-star-rating by regulated body. Additionally, we are recognised by the Department of Skills Development (DSD) under the Ministry of Human Resources for our expertise in hospitality, food, and service operations and preparations.
Recently, our institution has obtained accreditation from City and Guilds (C&G) in the United Kingdom to provide a Digital Marketing programme. Upon successful completion of the programme, students will be awarded a Level 4 Diploma by C&G.
KAGC College’s story began in 2006 with a bold vision and a green heart. Founded as a pioneer in green technology education, the college originally set out to contribute to sustainable development in Malaysia. As the world evolved, so did KAGC – by 2009, we expanded into Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), focusing on skills-based programs that meet industry needs. In 2017, armed with a decade of experience, we officially grew our curriculum to include a wide range of vocational courses beyond green tech, spanning hospitality, tourism, culinary arts, pastry & bakery, and digital marketing.
With backing from the Malaysian government (KAGC is accredited by the Department of Skills Development under the Ministry of Human Resources), we forged partnerships with prominent institutions and agencies to ensure our programs are industry-acclaimed and future-focused.
What started as a small college with a big dream has today become a leading higher-learning institution in Malaysia specializing in skills development across multiple fields. Our journey is one of continuous adaptation and growth – always staying one step ahead to equip the next generation with the tools they need for tomorrow.
For example, as e-commerce and social media rose in importance, we integrated digital marketing modules into traditionally non-digital programs (even our culinary and bakery students learn the basics of online marketing, so they can promote their future businesses!). Ultimately, KAGC stands for real skills for real success – we exist to make sure that when a student graduates, they are not only knowledgeable in their field, but also job-ready, adaptable, and confident in their abilities.
What does it mean to attend Malaysia’s No.1 Skill-Based Education College? It means you are joining a college that has led the way in skills education for years. KAGC offers a wide array of programs – from Certificates and Diplomas to Advanced Diplomas – in four main schools: Culinary Arts, Pastry & Bakery, Tourism & Hospitality, and Business & Digital Marketing. All programs are approved and recognized by the relevant authorities, ensuring quality and credibility. For instance, KAGC is officially registered as a Tourism Training Institute with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), and has even earned a 5-star rating from the ministry’s accrediting body for our excellence in training.
We are also affiliated with international accreditation: Since 2019, KAGC obtained accreditation from City College of Bermingham, UK and later Institute of Commercial Management (ICM), UK in 2025 – allowing us to offer a globally recognized Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts & Gastronomy, Advanced Diploma in Pastry & Bakery, Diploma in Hospitality Management and Level 4 Diploma in Digital Marketing. These affiliations mean that a KAGC education meets high standards, and our students often earn dual certifications (Malaysian skill certificates and UK certifications) that give them an edge in the job market.
Beyond paperwork and approvals, what truly differentiates KAGC is our intimate connection with the industry. We collaborate closely with employers and industry partners in designing our curriculum. Advisory panels and regular feedback from the field ensure that what you learn at KAGC is exactly what employers are looking for.
At KAGC, we don’t just promise success – we have a track record to prove it. Since 2010, we have consistently achieved a 100% job placement rate for our graduates. This is not a typo or an exaggeration – literally every single KAGC graduate for well over a decade has secured full-time employment or launched their own venture in their field. How do we do this? It starts with the quality and relevance of our training, and it’s bolstered by our dedicated Career Resources Department, which actively connects students to internship and job opportunities. Every diploma student completes an industry internship as part of their program, often with top companies in Malaysia or abroad. These internships frequently turn into job offers upon graduation.
KAGC is especially proud of the impact our alumni are making in their industries. In Tourism and Hospitality, KAGC has been a trailblazer and the nation’s top producer of licensed tourist guides – in fact, about 65% of Malaysia’s tourist guides were educated at KAGC, the highest of any college. If you’ve ever been on a guided tour in Malaysia, chances are your guide trained with us! This dominance has been consistently reported by the Ministry of Tourism since 2014. Our Culinary Arts and Pastry & Bakery graduates have found sweet success as well – many have gone on to work as chefs and pastry experts in leading F&B establishments, from international hotel chains to famous restaurants and bakeries. These alumni frequently credit KAGC’s rigorous kitchen training and recipe of creativity + discipline for giving them the confidence to shine in high-pressure culinary environments.
In the realm of Digital Marketing, though our program is newer, it’s already making waves. We recognized early on that digital skills would be essential for virtually every industry, so we integrated digital marketing content into various courses around 2020, and launched a full Diploma in Digital Marketing by 2022. This program, developed in partnership with City & Guilds UK in 2022 and later with JPK and Institute of Commercial Management of the UK in 2025, has already produced graduates who landed jobs at prominent companies – Glomac Berhad, Etiqa Insurance, Sunway Group, Offspring, and others have hired KAGC digital marketing grads. Some of our students even secure internships at big-name organizations (e.g., Sime Darby Property, Maybank) during their studies, turning their classroom knowledge into real campaigns for real clients. It’s no surprise that employers often remark on how “industry-ready” KAGC students are – they notice the difference in practical skills and motivation.
